RRC SECR Allows 2nd Chance for Group D PET to Absentees Aglasem

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) SECR (South East Central Railway) has released a notice for the candidates shortlisted for the PET round. Candidates unable to appear for the Physical test held from 28 to 31 March 2019 due to unavoidable circumstances can still undergo for the PET. It is now scheduled to take place on April 01, 2019. The second chance only depends upon the reason stated by the candidates. The venue for the PET remains the same.

Candidates must make sure that now he or she is present at the allotted date for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The aspirants will only be allowed to undergo to PET round only after seeing their reason to remain absent from the PET round. Physical Test is qualifying in nature and no marks are awarded to the candidates in this round. But, it is mandatory for the candidates to clear this round to be eligible for the next round which is, Document Verification.

In PET, candidates have to perform physical tasks like running and weight lifting. Male candidates are required to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 Min 15 Sec and lift 35 Kg of weight for 100 meters. Female candidates have to run for 1000 meters in 5 Min 40 Sec and lift 20 Kg weight for 100 meters. For weight lifting, each candidate will get 2 minutes to complete the task. For both the activities, candidates will get one chance.

RRC SECR PET Exam Dates changed

The tasks involved in the PET round needs to be completed in the allotted time limit. Candidates must not forget to carry the Admit Card for the Physical Efficiency Test. On the day of the PET, he or she should carry admit card in a printed format, passport size colored photograph and valid photo id proof. RRB Group D Admit Card is an important document so, one should keep it in good condition till the recruitment process gets over completely.

No candidates will be allowed to appear for the test without a valid admit card. So, do not forget to carry the same. Aspirants can carry any government approved photo id proof like aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, voter id, etc.

Candidates passing the PET round will be called for the Document Verification which is scheduled to be held from 1st week of April 2019. Each day around 100 to 150 candidates will be called for the DV round. The document verification process will last for about 3-4 weeks. RRB does not check the eligibility of the candidates during the form filling. It is checked only at the time of document verification.

For the DV round, candidates must make sure that they carry the relevant documents on the specified day. The medical exam will be conducted immediately for each candidate who clears the DV round.
