National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the facility for the students to locate the exact location of their exam centre. The April attempt of the exam is scheduled in 2 shifts on April 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12. This JEE Main 2019 Exam Center Locator facility is available at jeemain.nic.in.
The candidates have to use the exam centre number allotted to them on the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card to locate the exam centre. By visiting the website and using the tool the candidates will get to see the exact location of the centre on google maps.
The tool is developed by NTA for the registered candidates to get the idea of the exact centre location beforehand. The exam centres allotted by NTA are all named as ION digital centre. The exam centre location on the map is shown as iON digital centre like in the image shown below.
How to use the center location tool by NTA
The JEE Main 2019 centre locator tool is easy to use and very convenient tool to use. The candidates need to visit the official website of jeemain.nic.in to use the tool. In the official website, the tab of centre locator is available. On clicking the link the centre locator page opens.
On that page, the candidates are required to select their exam centre. To easily find the centre on the list type in the test centre number you have been allotted and click on it. The test centre number is available on your admit card of JEE Main 2019 April Exam. Click on the exam centre and the location of the centre opens on the map in a new window. You can then check the distance, travel time, how to reach, direction etc on the map.
All the JEE Main 2019 April exam registered candidates have been allotted the exam centres via the admit card that was issued on March 21, 2019. The candidates need to carry the admit card to the exam centre with a valid photo ID proof and a passport sized photo same as the one uploaded in the application form. The passport-sized photo is to be pasted in the attendance sheet at the exam centres.

The JEE Main 2019 April Paper 1 will be held on April 08, 09, 10 and 12, 2019 in two shifts – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Paper 2 will be held on 1 day only that is on April 07, 2019 in the same two shifts.
The candidates can now use the centre locator tool to reach the exam centre without any delays and hindrance. Use the admit card as a reference, if the admit card is not yet downloaded, the candidates can do so by logging into their account using application number and date of birth/password.
