Railway Recruitment Board has announced the exam dates of 2nd Phase Computer-Based Tests of NTPC 2020 recruitment. RRB has issued a latest public notice at rbcdg.gov.in declaring that the second phase of the 1st stage CBTs is to be conducted from January 16 to 30, 2021. Approximately 27 lakh candidates are going to appear in the test. Admit cards for the test are to be released 4 days before the exam date. CBTs for the remaining candidates are to be conducted in subsequent phases. Registered candidates who are scheduled to take the test in the second phase can access the link for exam city/date at the official website on or before January 06, 2021 onwards.

The RRR Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment 2020 exam is being held after a long waiting period since it was announced. Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 related restrictions, the Railway Recruitment Board is conducting the first stage Computer Based Test in multiple stages. The 1st phase CBTS is being conducted from December 28, 2020, to January 13, 2021. Approximately 1.25 crore candidates have registered for recruitment to more than 35000 vacancies in NTPC 2020. Out of these, the first phase CBT is being conducted for 23 lakh candidates. In this second phase exam, around 27 lakh candidates are set to appear. The remaining candidates have to appear in the test to be conducted in subsequent phases. RRB has indicated that the schedule to subsequent phases is to be intimated later.
Candidates who are scheduled to appear in the second phase exam from January 16, 2021 can download the admit card four days before the exam date. The link for checking the allocated exam city and date is to be made available on the RRB website on or before January 06, 2021. Registered candidates who are scheduled in the second phase have to visit the website rrbcdg.gov.in and click on the link to check the exam city and date.
It may be noted that the admit card for RRB NTPC 2020 has released through candidate login at the respective RRB regional websites. Candidates therefore need the registration number and password/date of birth to login to the RRB website and download the admit card. Candidates can check the exam date from the aforementioned link before January 06, 2021 and download the admit card as per schedule 4 days before the exam date.
The RRB is providing Free Travelling Authority to registered candidates who are from the SC/ST categories. These candidates can also download the Free Travelling Authority from the RRB website by clicking on the link for checking exam date/city.
RRB has created a Help Desk to address candidates’ queries. Candidates have to go to the regional RRB website in the help desk section for queries and clarifications. Registered candidates are advised to refer to the official websites of RRB only for latest updates. In addition, intimation to candidates scheduled to appear in the second phase CBTs is to be sent to registered email id and mobile number by the Railway Board.
