RRBs had officially published in the first week of December that the date of declaration of revised result of RRB ALP and Technician 2018 is December 20, 2018. Therefore candidates had been glued to official websites of RRBs since one day before result date only. The login link to check score obtained in ALP and Technician exam had been active since the day initial result was announced. So candidates had been regularly trying to see updated results in it.
Since around midnight, some candidates who had appeared for CBT 1 started reporting that the scores they can see now is different from what they could see before. After a few candidates said so, several others checked the same and said that the same had happened with them too. Scores were different, and a few said that they were not selected before and are being shown as selected / shortlisted for CBT 2 now.

When RRBs had published the initial result, each RRB had published a separate PDF file with list of shortlisted candidates with cut offs. Therefore it is expected that they will do so for revised result also.
However there is no new PDF file, or even notice that RRB ALP Revised Result 2018 is out, on any RRB website as on the time of publishing this news. This is creating chaos, panic, and confusion among several candidates. They are worried that fake news is being spread on social media. Also, they want RRBs to confirm the actual status and publish new cut offs.

Working upon speculations, a few candidates are believing that these are just updated scores and revised PDF merit lists will be published in evening today, as was done by Railways last time.
