The National Testing Agency has released the exam dates for JEE Main 2019 January session. According to the circular issued by NTA, the entrance exams will be held from January 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2019. Around 9.65 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2019. Among those, many candidates are appearing for the CBSE Board exams 2019 for class 12. So, as per the reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education has planned the practical exams of class 12 considering the JEE Main 2019 exam dates. The board had tried not to clash the practical exam dates with the entrance exam dates.
The CBSE Board has planned the dates for the convenience of the students. Students need not take stress about the clash of both exams. As now they can appear for the JEE Main 2019 freely before January 16, 2019.
Last year, the practical exams were held from January 15 to January 25, 2018. So, this year also the CBSE Board has strategies the practical exam dates for class 12 accordingly.
In the 2018 session, the Physical Education exam was about to be clashed with JEE Main 2018. Both exams were scheduled on April 09, 2018. But later, it was shifted to April 13, 2018.
CBSE Date Sheet 2019 for the written exams will be released soon. Considering the fact that the board has planned to do all the exam related activities 15 days prior to the previous years. So, the CBSE Board may release the date sheet in the month of December 2018. Otherwise, if the board will follow the past trend then the students will get the time table in the second week of January 2019.
The CBSE Board has also changed the passing criteria for the candidates. Now, the students of class 10 and 12 will have to obtain 33% combined in the theory and practical exams rather than gaining the separate 33% in the individual exam.
