Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the admit card for the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Stage 2 examination from January 17, 2019. There will be a single link for hall ticket download for all twenty-one RRBs. Therefore RRB ALP CBT 2 Admit Card download link shall be activated at one common time for all.
At this moment, candidates are eager to download the admit card as soon as possible to shift focus back on exam preparation. We look at previous RRB Admit Card date and time issuance trends to give you an expected time of issuance of second stage computer based tests scheduled to be held from January 21 to 23, 2019.
RRB ALP CBT 1 was held in August-September 2018. First exam date was August 09, 2018. For it, admit card was released on August 05, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Similarly, RRB Group D exam was held in September-December. For first exam day, RRB issued admit card at 1:45 PM. Admit card was released for most of the sessions in the evening around 8:00 PM on later days for later day exams. So, looking at this pattern, there seem to be high chances that admit card for RRB ALP CBT 2 2019 be released in afternoon, or latest by evening.
Another possibility remains of ALP CBT 2 admit card releasing early, tonight. Candidates may be rest assured however that even if it publishes early, they can access it from the official website of RRB using the user id and date of birth at any time before exam.
Candidates should keep in mind that only those who have exam on Monday, January 21 can download RRB ALP Technician Admit Card 2018-2019 from Thursday, January 17. Then candidates having exam on January 22 can download admit card from January 18. Likewise those who have exam on January 23 can download hall ticket from January 19.
Once the admit card is downloadable, candidates must take the print out to take on the examination day. Along with that, it is essential to carry photo identity proof and one colored photograph. As per the exam guidelines, test takers must carry all the documents in original. Any violation of these rules can lead to the cancellation of the exam. PWD candidates are advised to take the scribe call letters with them. Also, SC/ST are eligible for free sleeper class railway pass for the exam.
The RRB ALP Stage 2 Examination will be held from January 21 to 23, 2019. Candidates who have cleared the stage 1 are only eligible for the computer-based test. Aspirants will compete for the 64371 posts divided among Loco Pilot (27795) and Technician (36576). For the preparation of the exam, candidates can refer to the mock test link activated on January 12, 2019.
The exam will be a 150 minutes duration test divided into two parts. Part A is a 90 minutes test of 100 MCQ’s and this section will be considered for the merit evaluation. Whereas Part B is the qualifying exam of 60 minutes test having 75 MCQs. General candidates need atleast 40% marks to qualify the part A and 35% (for all categories) to clear the second part.
