Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released admit card for Assistant Engineer (AEN) mains exam 2018-2019 today. The commission has also notified that AEN mains exam will be held from December 3 to 5, 2019. Exam will be held in two shifts on each day, from 9 am to 12 noon, and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
RPSC AEN mains admit card 2019 has been issued in online mode. Candidates can either download it from rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in from the admit card link, using their application number and date of birth.
Or, they can go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in and login using SSO ID, password, and get the admit card from recruitment portal link available at Citizen Apps (G2C), where all available admit cards have been uploaded.
RPSC says that candidates should bring photo identity card along with a printout of the AEN admit card to the exam center on the day of the exam.
At Rajasthan Single Sign On website, there are also facilities for getting forgotten SSOID and password. To get password, one has to enter mobile, or email, or aadhar ID / VID. whereas there are different ways online to get the SSOID, there is also one way to get it offline, by SMS. The website says “To recover the SSOID, you can send a SMS to 9223166166. i.e. type RJ SSO and send it to 9223166166 from your registered mobile. Note: To use this service, it is important that you should have logged-in to SSO portal at least once w.e.f. 07/09/2018 onwards.”
Whereas the admit card released notice only provides exam dates, the RPSC exam dates page on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, direct link for which is rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/proposedexamdate has provided which exam is on which day. As per it, on December 3, 2019, exams will be held for hindi, social aspects of engineering.
Then on December 4, 2019, papers will be held for civil engineering II, electrical engineering I, electrical engineering II, civil engineering I. On December 5, 2019, RPSC will hold papers of agricultural engineering I, agricultural engineering II, mechanical engineering I, and mechanical engineering II.
RPSC is set to conduct Junior Legal Officer exam as well next month, on December 26 and 27, 2019.
The RPSC Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Examination 2018 is being conducted to fill a total of 916 vacancies. The advertisement was published on May 31 last year and forms were accepted until June 14. Result of prelims was announced on October 1, 2019.
Mains exam will have paper 1 compulsory hindi with three parts, A, B, and C. They will be of 30, 50, and 20 marks respectively. Then there will be paper 2 compulsory social aspects of engineering, of 100 marks. After that there will be optional subjects, depending on the post applied for civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering. For each discipline, there will be two papers I and II where I will be of 200 marks and II will also be of 200 marks.
