Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced RPF SI Result 2018 for CBT held on December 19, 2018. Indian Railway announced the result on the official website, si1.rpfonlinereg.org. For now the result has only been declared for Group E and F. For Group A, B, C, and D the result will be announced soon.
The result for RPF SI Recruitment 2018-2019 is available as merit list. To check it, the candidates just need to access the official website and on the right hand side, look for “Candidates Shortlisted for PMT, PET, DV“. On clicking the tab, the option choose RPF SI Groups will open. Select your Group and following it RPF SI List of Shortlisted candidates will open.
The merit list for RPF SI contains roll number and names of the qualified candidates. As per the RPF SI list of shortlisted candidates, in Group E, 424 candidates have qualified. The total number of candidates selected in RPF SI Group F is 645.
Railway has not announced any date for the release of RPF SI result for Group A, B, C, and D. However, it is expected that it will be announced soon. The score candidates will be announced later on by Indian Railway.
Now that the result for RPF SI Computer-based test has been announced, the shortlisted candidates will now have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). The Board shall conduct a maximum of two rounds of PET/PMT.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory for all and the candidates need to complete the tasks in the given deadline. The tasks comprise of – 1600 meters run, 800 meters run, Long jump and High Jump. The male candidates need to complete the 1600 meters run in 6 min 30 secs, long jump till 12 ft, and High jump till 3 ft 9 inch. Whereas, for the female candidates, they have to complete the 800 meters run in 4 mins, long jump till 9 ft and High jump till 3 ft.
The candidates should note that they given only one chance for 1600/800 meters event. However, for the remaining events viz Long Jump and High jump, the candidates will be given up to 2 chances each.
Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, the candidates will then be eligible to take part in Document Verification. At the time of appearing for DV, the candidates need to carry all the relevant documents in proof of their academic details, age limit, category, etc.
