Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced RPF Constable Result for Group E. The result for Group A, B, C, and D will be announced in due course of time. The paper for Group E was held on December 20, 21, and 22, 2018, and the candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result from the official website, constable.rpfonlinereg.org.
The RPF Constable Result 2018 has been declared as merit list and it contains the roll numbers and name of qualified candidates. To check the RPF Constable list of shortlisted candidates go to the official website and on the right hand side, search for “Candidates Shortlisted for PMT, PET, DV”. On finding the tab, click on it and then choose tab for “Group E”. Following this, the merit list for RPF Constable 2018 will open.
In all, 2084 candidates have qualified under Group E. The Railway Constable Recruitment is open for 8619 vacancies. Out of these, 4402 vacancies are for male candidate and 4216 are for the female candidates. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of CBT, PET /PMT, and Document Verification round. The recruited candidates will get salary of Rs. 21700, plus other allowances.
There are 4 stages under RPF Constable Recruitment 2018. The first stage has been conducted, which was the computer-based test (CBT). Now, the qualifying candidates will have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).
The candidates should note that the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) is qualifying in nature and no marks are to be awarded. There shall be maximum two rounds of PET and PMT. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory for all.
PET includes Running and Jumping. Both male and female candidates need to run and jump. The male candidates will have to run 1600 meter, in 5 minutes and 45 seconds. Whereas, the female candidates will have to run for 800 meters, in 3 minutes and 45 seconds.
The male candidates need to do long jump of 14 feet and high jump of 4 feet. On the other hand, the long jump criteria for female candidates is 9 feet and the high jump criteria is 3 feet.
On the basis of the candidate’s performance in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, they will then be eligible to take part in the Document Verification (DV). On the scheduled date for DV, the candidates need to carry all the relevant documents in proof of the details submitted at the time of Application Form.
