Railway Protection Force (RPF) will release RPF SI Admit Card 2018, at least 10 days before the exam. The exam is beginning from December 19, 2018. Hence, it is expected that the admit card will be released on December 09, 2018. It will be available on the official website of RPF Sun-Inspector, which is si1.rpfonlinereg.org.
To download the admit card, candidates will have to visit the official website and then click on the RPF Sub-Inspector Admit Card 2018 link. It will lead to a new login portal. To open the portal, candidates will have to submit application number / roll number and date of birth. After accessing the login, the candidates will have to download the admit card and produce a hard copy of it.
There is also a possibility that the RPF SI hall ticket might be delayed. Since Indian Railway is conducting such huge recruitment, the chances of delay are high. Even if the admit card is not released on 9th of this month, then also, the RPF will release it soon and before December 19, 2018.
The exam date of the candidates will be revealed through the admit card. Along with it, the exam city and center will also be mentioned on it. Candidates will have to carry the admit card on the exam day. Along with it, the candidates will also have to carry one photo id proof and passport size photograph.
The Indian Railways is going to conduct the Computer-based test to shortlist candidates for RPF SI Recruitment 2018. The CBT is going to be conducted in 15 languages which are Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri, and, Punjabi.
The CBT is of 90 minutes duration and the test consist of 120 MCQ type questions. The questions for the RPF SI CBT 2018 will be asked from topics like General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
As far as the marking scheme is concerned, for every correct answer, you will get 01 marks. There is also a negative marking for an incorrect response, which means, that -1/3 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
The RRB organizes RPF recruitment examination every year to recruit candidates for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable. The RRB had released the RPF recruitment notification for SI and Constable posts on May 31, 2018, and the online application process started from June 1, 2018.
The recruitment process of Railway will be conducted in four (04) phases – Online Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Document Verification (DV).
There are about 819 number of vacancies for the male candidates for the post of SI. and about 301 number of vacancies for the Female candidates.
