Aspirants who are eagerly waiting for REET 2020 notification can expect it anytime soon. Ashok Gehlot, CM of Rajasthan, has approved the proposal for the recruitment of REET examination. Along with that, the recruitment for 31,000 teachers post is also sanctioned by the government. The notification and other recruitment dates will be out anytime soon. The crucial information regarding the REET and 31,000 teacher recruitment was announced recently via twitter. Ashok Gehlot announced that after the commencement of the REET 2020 examination, the recruitment process for 31,000 teacher recruitment will start. For this, the government has approved Rs. 881.61 Crore budget for the examination for probation of 02 years and Rs. 1717.40 Crore thereafter.

On this, Govind Singh Dotasra has also tweeted. He added that the Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of the Education Department to conduct REET and teacher recruitment. The examination of Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is taking place after an elongated gap of 03 years. Last, the examination was organized in the year 2017. Thereafter, Govind Singh Dotasara has announced about the examination of REET 2020 on December 24, 2019, for 21,000 vacant posts. The number of vacancies is now increased to 31,000. This year, candidates have high expectations for examination to be conducted.
Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct the examination of REET. However, due to some administrative reasons and COVID-19, the examination got postponed. REET examination is conducted to provide eligibility to candidates who wish to build their career as Primary (Class 1 to Class 5) and Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to class 8). Only those candidates who have pass 12th class/ graduation degree are eligible to appear for Rajasthan Teacher Examination. On qualifying the exam, candidates can apply for 31,000 vacant posts.
As per the previous year notification, the REET exam comprises of two papers – Paper I (Class I to V) and Paper-II (Class VI to VIII). BSER conducted an offline examination (OMR based) to assess the candidate’s knowledge of different subjects/ fields. Both the papers are organized to 150 questions carrying one marks for each question. Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan conducts the REET examination for 02 hours and 30 minutes.
