Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has started the February 2020 session admission for the ICIT course, Embedded System Design. It is a 6 months full-time programme, admission to which is granted on the basis of common entrance test (CET). The application form for it are available online, on icitonline.org. Pune University ICIT course embedded system design CET 2020 is scheduled to be held online and offline. The online exam is scheduled for January 11 and 12, 2020, whereas, the offline paper will only held on January 12, 2020.
The last date to apply for the exam is January 08, 2020. Candidates who have a B.E./ B.Tech degree (in electronics, E&TC, instrumentation), M.Sc (in electronics & instrumentation) or its equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidates in final year of these courses can also apply.
The application fee to apply for the online test is Rs. 500/- which can be paid by credit card/debit card / ATM card (approved by visa) and offline by DD (it has to be in made in favour of ICIT PVT Ltd., Pune) / Cash.
To apply online for the entrance exam, candidates need to visit the official website at icitonline.org/cet-online-form/. On the homepage of the website, candidates need to click on the “online registration” button. In the next screen, candidates can proceed to fill in all details. upload their latest passport size photograph (jpeg format only) and click on the “next” button. Once the form is submitted and the payment is made, a unique user id and password will be automatically sent on candidate’s registered e-mail Id and the same will appear on their screen. Also, form once submitted, candidates will not be allowed to edit any details.
Once the payment is done, the “Booking and Hall Ticket” button will be activated for the candidates to book test centre, date and time as per their preference and convenience. After this, candidates can download and take a print out of the hall ticket and carry it to the test centre with their recent photo pasted on it along with a photo identity card and a copy of this photo id.
The CET exam is conducted in online mode in all test centres, except for Pune (ICIT, SPPU campus) centre, for which the exam is conducted in offline mode. The test slots for online exam is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and for the offline exam, test timings are, 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. All the test centre are available for booking for 11 Jan 2020 CET exam except for at Pune centre, it is not available. For 12 Jan 2020 exam, test centres at Chennai_CD, Indore, Kolhapur, Lucknow_RO, Nagpur, and Nasik are not available for the candidates to book.
Certificate Course in Embedded System Design is a job-oriented certificate course which covers all hardware, software and control issues of Embedded Systems within an integrated system based perspective during training. The course fee is 85,000 which can be paid in two instalments, 1st instalment of Rs. 50,000 with admission confirmation, 2nd instalment to be paid by in 30 days. Batches are conducted in February and August every year. It is 24 weeks course, in which there will be lectures of 2 hrs/day, and practical of 5 hrs/day.
