PU Law exam date has been released by Panjab University for the session 2022-23. As per the notice released by the university, the exam dates for the BA B.Com LLB entrance test have also been notified the university. The notice is available on the official website, exams.puchd.ac.in says that the exam shall be held on July 03, 2022. The examination shall be conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 11.30 am.
PU Law, BA/B.Com LLB exam shall be conducted for only those who have qualified class 10+2 from a recognised state board. Also, the examination shall be held in test centres located in three cities only, Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur, and Ludhiana. Out of these three cities, the candidates shall be assigned any of the three cities on the basis of their availability. Candidates post-qualifying the exam shall be eligible for admission to BA LLB or B.Com LLB courses on the basis of the marks scored on the test.
PU Law Selection Process
The final admission to five years integrated BA LLB or B.Com LLB courses are subjected to the candidate’s performance in the written examination only. The exam shall be held in the offline mode with a single paper, Legal and General Awareness. The paper shall have 100 questions out of which 60 questions will be based on Testing General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 Aptitude for Law, 10 questions on Mental Ability and the remaining 10 questions from the English Language. The language of the paper is going to be in English, Hindi and Punjabi. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark is assigned to the correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for wrong answers.
Candidates final selection shall be made on the basis of the preliminary merit list drawn by the candidates. The names of the candidates shall be kept in the list only if they score a minimum of 15% (cut off) marks (10% Cut Off marks in case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class/PwD) in the Entrance Test.
