Government Dungar College, Bikaner is going to conduct the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2021 on May 16, 2021. The registration process for the entrance test began on February 03, 2021, and the last date to submit the application form is today i.e., March 10, 2021. Moreover, today is also the last date to pay the application fee. Candidates can access the application form on the official website of the examination ptetraj2021.com.
Candidates willing to appear for the state-level entrance exam must first choose the course on the official website ptetraj2021.com. They may choose between the 2-year B.Ed course and the 4-year integrated course depending on their eligibility. Accordingly, they must click the link to access the application form.
Interested and eligible applicants must then enter their correct phone number and email ID. In case of incorrect credentials, candidates shall not be given a chance to rectify them later. After doing so, they must choose the appropriate ‘Click Here’ option depending on the course selected and then choose the ‘Fill Form’ option.
Candidates are expected to enter details such as the candidate’s name mother’s name, father’s name, subject, roll number, etc in the application form. They are advised to do so carefully as a correction facility shall not be given once the form has been submitted. Candidates opting for the 2-year B.Ed course must choose the subject based on their graduation or post-graduation. Similarly, those opting for the 4-year integrated B.Ed course must choose the subject based on their Class 12 subjects.
Once the application form is filled, candidates have to make the fee payment mandatorily. All candidates are expected to pay the online application fee of Rs.500 for PTET 2021. Candidates must bear in mind that this application fee is non-refundable. Hence, they must apply for the examination only if they are eligible for the prescribed 2-year/4-year course.
Authorities have also stated the PTET 2021 examination paper pattern. Although a specific syllabus has not been prescribed, a general outline has been posted on the official website. PTET 2021 question paper shall comprise of four sections – Mental Ability, Teaching Aptitude and Aptitude Test, General Awareness and Language Proficiency (Hindi or English).
The paper shall comprise of 200 questions with each question being allotted 3 marks. Thus, the paper is of 600 marks and for 3 hours duration. Furthermore, all questions in the paper shall be objective-type with a minimum of four alternative answers to choose from. The paper shall be printed in both English and Hindi language except the Language Proficiency section. In case of any mistakes either in the question paper or answers, the English version shall be treated as final.
