The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has released the application form for Punjab TET 2021. The direct link to apply online for PSTET 2021 assessment is now activated on the official website of PSEB. Hopeful aspirants of the states, fulfilling the eligibility criteria will now be able to apply online at pstet.pseb.ac.in. The last date to fill and submit the application form is November 06, 2021. The PSTET 2022 exam is scheduled to commence on December 24, 2021. With less than a month left for the commencement of the exam, chances are less for an extension of the application process.
The application correction process will be followed by the termination of the application filing process. Registered applicants who want to commit corrections in their respective application form such as name, parent’s name, guardian’s name, date of birth, photo bearing identity proof Aadhaar number, and selection of subject (level 2 and 3) can do so by logging in the official website till December 10, 2021. The admit cards are scheduled to release from December 16, 2021, respectively.
The Punjab State Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) is a state-level exam conducted by PSEB. Residents of Punjab are welcome to fill the online application form for both paper 1 (lower primary), and paper 2 (upper primary). Applicants must qualify for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in order to become eligible to teach students from grades 1-5 and 6-8 respectively.
The candidates can apply for the PSTET 2021 exam by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PSEB at pstet.pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, scroll down and click on ‘PSTET Registration’ tab mentioned below the ‘News/ Press releases’ section.
Step 3: New applicants must register themselves first. Registered users must proceed with the login process. Login using the provided registration id and password.
Step 4: In the following step, the application form needs to be filled. All the personal and educational details must be entered carefully.
Step 5: Upload the required documents in the asked format.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit the form.
The application fee for PSTET 2021 exam varies with the number of papers and the category in which the applicant belongs. Reserved category candidates will be charged Rs. 900 for any 1 paper (paper1/ paper2) and Rs. 1800 for both papers (paper 1 & paper 2). On the other hand,
SC/ST/PH applicants will be charged Rs. 600 and Rs. 1200 for any 1 and both the papers respectively.
There is no upper age limit prescribed for the PSTET 2021 exam. However, all applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to apply for the Punjab state TET 2021 exam. Interested applicants can take any number of attempts for the PSTET 2021 exam. Along with this, the basic academic qualification is to have at least 50% of marks in their 12th standard and a four-year elementary education training. Candidates with a graduation or diploma in elementary education can also apply. Additionally, candidates appearing for Paper 2 of the exam must hold a Graduation degree along with a B.Ed degree. All applicants will get a chance to correct their respective application forms between December 10 to 13, 2021, respectively.
