The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will announce the PSEB Class 12th Result 2021 today on the official website i.e. pseb.ac.in at around 2.30 PM. The examination of Punjab Plus Two has been scheduled from March 22, 2021, to April 27, 2021. However the same has been cancelled amid the rise in the covid cases in the state. Nevertheless, the board has, later on, announced that it will follow the CBSE assessment criteria to compile the result for the class 12th students. In 2021, around 3,18,000 students have registered themselves for the Intermediate examination in different streams.
The candidates who are awaiting their results can use the steps mentioned in the space below to check the same:
Step 1: The candidates need to visit the official website of the board i.e. pseb.ac.in
Step 2: Post this, the candidates need to search for the link of the PSEB Plus Two Result. On clicking the same, the candidates will be redirected to the official result page of the board.
Step 3: Therein, the candidates have to choose the relevant stream, enter their PSEB Class 12th roll number or candidates name and then hit the “Find Results” button.
Step 4: The final result along with the marks scored in each subject of class 12th will be displayed on the next page.
Step 5: In the end, the candidates can cross-check everything and take a printout of the same for future reference.
The candidates can also use the SMS service to get their Class 12th results. For this, the candidates need to type their PB12 <Roll Number> and send the same to 5676750.
The Punjab board has prepared the PSEB Class 12th result on the assessment formula of CBSE i.e. 30:30:40. This implies that 30% weightage will be given to the best three subjects of Class 10th result. Moreover, 30% weightage will be given to the theory papers of the Class 11th final result. The remaining 40% weightage is allotted to the marks scored by the candidates in the unit test, pre-board marks of Class 12th.
As per the result statistics of the previous year, around 2,65,449 students appeared for the class 12th examination as regular students. For the regular students, the pass percentage was recorded at 92.77%. While 20229 students as Open School candidates and the overall pass percentage for them stood at 68.26 %. The overall pass percentage for the last year stood at 90.98%.
