Plus Two SAY Exam Date 2021 Announced, Improvement Exam in Kerala from August 11

Candidates who failed in Second Year Higher Secondary Examination in March 2021 can apply for Plus Two SAY and Improvement Examinations.

Directorate of General Education, Kerala has released the official notification regarding the Second Year Higher Secondary SAY Examination or Improvement Examination on its official website education.kerala.gov.in. The application process for the SAY exam has been started and candidates can submit their applications till July 31, 2021. SAY exam or improvement exam will be conducted from August 11, 2021.

In some schools of Kerala state and all schools of Lakshadweep Union Territory, the SAY and improvement exam will be conducted. Along with this, the SAY exam will also be held in some schools in gulf countries. 

Plus Two SAY Exam Date 2021

To apply for the SAY exam, candidates have to visit their respective schools and collect the application forms. They have to fill and submit the application form to the principal of their schools. The last date to submit the application forms to schools with a fine of Rs. 600 is August 02, 2021. The application form should consist of the candidate’s photograph attested by their principal. After the submission of application forms, the respective principals have to register their students through a departmental portal till August 02, 2021. 

Candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- as a fee per subject for the SAY exam. For the improvement exam, candidates have to pay Rs.500/- per subject as a fee. For practical exams, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- per subject. To get the final certificate, candidates have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 40/-. 

The regular candidates who have applied for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination in March 2021 but didn’t pass the examination or failed to attain a D+ grade in any subject can apply for the SAY exam. Those who have not registered for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination in March 2021 are not eligible to apply for the SAY exam. Candidates who are applying for the SAY exam to attend Biology paper will have to attempt both Zoology and Botany papers. Also, the candidates who have not given the practical exam earlier will have to attempt it along with the SAY exam.

Before the three days of the SAY exam and improvement exams, admission tickets of candidates will be given to their respective schools and the principal has to download them. Candidates can collect their admission tickets from their schools. For the candidates from gulf countries, the SAY and improvement examination will be conducted across the exam centres in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). For the candidates of Lakshadweep, the exam will be conducted across the exam centres in the Union Territory region of Lakshadweep.
