The National Testing Agency(NTA) has released the JEE Main admit card today on the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in for session 1. This admit card is strictly for the students of Bahrain who could not attempt the exam earlier citing lockdown. The admit card has also been released for students of Maharashtra who could not appear for the exam citing flood and landslide. As per the official notice, Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech will be held on August 03 and August 04, 2021, for candidates of Bahrain and Maharashtra candidates. While Paper 2 i.e. B.Arch/B. Planning will be held on August 5, 2021, only for students of Bahrain. The result date has not been announced now and will be notified later.
The JEE Main admit card is only for those candidates who have their exams on February 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2021 in Bahrain. The exam has also been rescheduled for students of the Kolhapur, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigad, Sindhudurg, Sangli, and Satara districts.
How to download JEE Main 2021 Admit Card?
The candidates can use the steps as a reference to download their JEE Main 2021 admit card from the official website:
Step 1: The candidates should begin with visiting the official website of NTA i.e. need to download any of the mobile apps i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On reaching the homepage, the candidates need to find the official link for the JEE Main admit card 2021 and click on the same.
Step 3: Upon clicking, the candidates will be redirected to the official login page. Therein, the candidates have to enter their JEE Main Application Number, Date of birth and security pin and click on submit button.
Step 4: The candidate’s admit card will be available on the next page. The candidates can cross verify the details as available on the admit card for ruling out any error or mistake.
Step 5: In the end, the candidates can download the JEE Main admit card and take a printout of the same for carrying it to the exam hall.
The admit card will comprise of major information relevant to the JEE Main examination i.e. Candidates Name, Roll Number, Application Number, Exam date, Time slot, Candidate’ personal information, and Venue of the test centre. The candidates should cross-check everything that is mentioned on the admit card to prevent any last moment mishap.
JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main Paper for B.E/B.Tech will comprise of questions from three subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each section will account for 25 questions out of which 20 will be from the MCQ section while 5 questions will be of the numerical value type. The candidates will get 3 hours to solve the paper. Additionally, each correct response will account for 4 marks while a negative response will account for 1 mark.
In a similar manner, papers from B.Arch or B.Planning will have 77 questions out of which the Mathematics paper will have 25 questions, Aptitude paper will account for 50 questions. Similarly, the drawing section will be held offline and will have 2 questions. The marking scheme and duration in this paper will be similar to the B.Tech paper.
