The Periyar University has announced the UG and PG results on June 18, 2018. The students can check their result online at the official website of the University, http://www.periyaruniversity.ac.in. The results were initially to be announced on June 15, 2018, however, were later postponed. The exam was held in the month of April 2018.
To check the result, the candidates should first visit the official website of the University. Then click on the link for “April 2018 UG / PG Examination Result“. A new page will open in which the candidates have to enter details such as their Registration Number and Date of Birth. Click on the “Show Result” button to submit the details and the result will be available on the screen. Lastly, the candidates should download and take a print out of the Periyar University Result for future reference.
The University has not yet published any date or information regarding the revaluation and re-totaling of marks. It was expected that this information will be published at the time of declaration of result of Periyar University UG and PG. The candidates should visit the official website of the Periyar University regularly for any updates.
However, as per the standard process, the students who wish to apply for re-totaling and revaluation can do so within 10 days from the result declaration date. In case a candidate needs assistance, they can reach up to their college principals or the head of department.
The University conducted the PRIDE exam for admission to distance courses offered by the university. The exams were earlier scheduled to be conducted in December 2017 but were postponed and then conducted in February 2018. Also, the university has also released the exam center list and timetable for the UICP June Exam.
Periyar University was established in Salem in the year 1997. The Periyar University is named after the Great Social Reformer E.V.Ramasamy affectionally called ‘Thanthai Periyar’. Apart from the constituent colleges, 14 government colleges are affiliated with the university. There are 4 aided colleges, 77 self-financed colleges under the university.
