The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has published the result for AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance exam today. The result is available in the pdf format and consist of the details of the candidate who are eligible for Seat Allocation/ First round of counseling. The results are available on the official website at http://www.aiimsexams.org in the form of the rank wise and roll number wise list.
As per the exam analysis, this year AIIMS 2018 Paper was being termed as a moderate question paper, and as expected the cutoffs have dipped as compared to last year for each category.
The percentile cut off for General Category this year is 98.83, for OBC (NCL) the cut off is 97.42, 93.65 for SC/ ST category candidates.
However, last year the cut off for UR was 99.00, cut off for OBC (NCL) was 97.42 and 94.12 percentile for SC/ST.
AIIMS, this year has released the cutoff percentile for eligibility to the counseling process of AIIMS 2018. It can be seen in the image given below.
Along with the cutoff percentile, overall rank, as well as category rank, has been released by the institute. This time none of the candidates from the PWBD-ST category has qualified for the counseling process.
AIIMS 2018 paper has been said to be of a moderate level with Physics being on the tougher side as compared to the other sections. The other sections are Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and the Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Ability. The paper is for 200 marks and it is conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT).
The paper was conducted on 2 days i.e. June 26 and 27, 2018 in two shifts per day. For AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance exam about 200,000 candidates appeared for the exam.
The students who have cleared the AIIMS 2018 Exam will now be called for the counselling process. The registration for the counseling is expected to start from June 23, 2018. All the counseling-related information will be uploaded soon on the official website.
