The online application link released by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha pertaining to Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021 has been extended. In order to fill up the online application form for OSSTET 2021, the candidates will be required to take the following steps:

- Access OSSTET application form link.
- Use mobile number and password for registration.
- After completion of registration, log in with credentials.
- Follow the instructions to fill up the application form.
- Download the same for reference.
OSSTET is conducted by BSE Odisha for the appointment of teachers in Secondary Schools in Odisha. The increasing demand of the candidates towards this examination has made the authorities extend the last date of submission of online application. OSSTET 2021 does not have negative marking. The examination comprises two papers, Paper I and Paper-II. The total duration of the examination is for two and a half hours. Choice of Language I may be Odia, Hindi, Urdu, Telegu, or Bengali. English will be Language II. The question will be in MCQ format, each carrying one mark.
The syllabus for Paper I of OSSTET 2021 will consist of Social Studies, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation. The candidate will have to choose between Hindi, Sanskrit, Telegu, or Urdu amongst languages. Other subjects are Mathematics and Science. English and Odia are compulsory languages. Paper-II of OSSTET 2021 will be of 150 marks. The syllabus comprises Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation. For the candidates appearing for the post of Physical Education teachers, Contents of Certificate in Physical Education (C.P.ED) and Bachelors of Physical Education (B.P.ED) are required.
