Odisha Livelihood Mission has recently released employment notifications inviting eligible candidates to fill up 817 vacancies. The posts that are advertised are of Project Assistant, Block Livelihood Coordinator, Block Project Manager, District Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Executive, Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The notifications for the aforementioned posts are uploaded at the official website which is olm.nic.in. Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit their forms from June 17, 2020, up to July 07, 2020.
In order to apply for the post of Project Assistant and Block Livelihood Coordinator, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from the recognized university. For other posts, namely, Block Project Manager, District Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Executive, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant field is required. Candidates who are willing to apply should not be more than 37 years of age. Fulfiling the eligibility criteria allows candidates to submit their application form successfully. Odisha Livelihood Mission application link will activate from June 17, 2020 onwards on its official website, olm.nic.in. Keep the scanned images of the passport size photograph and signature ready to upload for the application process. On the successful submission of the application form, a unique application ID gets displayed on the screen. Note the application ID as it is required at various stages of the OLM recruitment process.
This year, the Oil Livelihood Mission is recruiting eligible candidates on a large scale. It has advertised several posts carrying 817 vacancies for Oil Livelihood Mission, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Odisha. These announced vacancies are divided amongst the seven posts. The Block Livelihood Coordinator post has the largest share of 294 vacancies followed by 254 vacancies under Project Assistant, 161 for Block Project Manager, 07 for District Project Manager, 36 for Project Manager, 62 for Project Executive and 03 for Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
The selection to the announced posts is done through different stages. The selection for Block Livelihood Coordinator (BLC) and Project Assistant is completed through three stages which are computer-based test which is for 150 marks and computer practical test which is conducted for 30 marks followed by document verification. Candidates who have applied for the post of Project Manager, Block Project Manager and Project Executive have to qualify 04 stages for selection. These stages are computer-based test which is conducted for 150 marks, computer practical test for 30 marks, document verification and personal interview for 25 marks. And for Deputy Chief Executive Officer and District Project Manager, candidates have to qualify computer-based test conducted for 150 marks, computer practical test for 30 marks, Group discussion of 10 marks, Document verification and personal interview of 25 marks.
