OAVS Recruitment 2022 Dates Revised, Application Form Postponed to 21 Jan – Check New Schedule

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has revised the dates for the recruitment process for various posts. The online application process that was earlier supposed to begin from January 06, 2022, will now commence from January 21, 2022. OAVS has mentioned that the reason behind postponing the dates is due to unavoidable technical reasons. A total of 1749 vacancies will be filled for the posts of principal, teaching, and other non-teaching staff like librarians and teachers under various disciplines in OAVs and Iconic OAV, Andharua.

As per the new schedule, the revised dates are given in the table below.

Candidates can check the revised schedule from the official website – oav.edu.in. The detailed modalities for the recruitment have also been mentioned in the official website. Applicants are advised to go through them and then submit their applications.

Eligibility Criteria

The applying candidates must be a citizen of India. They should have passed MIL Odia up to the ME standard. The category-wise educational qualifications are different and hence, candidates should have a Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science from University or State as per the requirements of the different posts.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), Interview and Performance Test. The concerned committee reserves the right to set the cut-off for CBT and interview. Moreover, category-wise CBTs have different syllabi. Nevertheless, the CBT will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours and it will have 180 questions for 180 marks. This will be followed by the interview which will be of 60 marks.

Application Process

Interested and prospective candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will have to submit their applications via oav.edu.in. Before that, they have to go through the detailed information first. In the first stage, candidates have to sign up for the exam using their email ID and mobile number. After that, they have to complete filling up the personal details and qualification details followed by uploading a photo and signature and then paying the application fee.
