National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2019 state level exam in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled for November 3, 2019. For the same, admit card aka hall ticket is available online at bseap.org. Students of class 10th, who have applied for the same, can download their hall tickets and attend the exam at scheduled time.
National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) is initiated the NTS exam several years ago. The exam has undergone many changes throughout the years. Whereas the level 1 of this exam is at state level and all the state boards have been given the responsibility by NCERT to conduct the exam, level 2 will be on national level by NCERT. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, Directorate of Government Examination is conducting the exam in offline mode. This year, 263 students will be awarded scholarships in AP.
As per the press note of Andhra Pradesh NTSE admit card 2019 by Directorate of Government Examination, it has been notified that the admit card for National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2019 were released on October 24, 2019. Shri A. Subbaradi, Government Examination Administrator, informs that the school websites have to download NTSE admit card from bseap.org.
To download the NTSE hall ticket, one has to enter the school SSC code and password in the login window. The password is also the SSC code. The school SSC code is available next to the name of the school in the dropdown menu above the login window. Next, click on the NTSE hall ticket tab available inside the login and then click on download hall ticket button. The hall tickets appear on the screen. Find your hall ticket and download/print the same.
Besides, if the school has downloaded the admit card for all its students, then their students can collect them from the school authorities. After downloading the admit card, if the photo is not visible/wrong printed or not printed, a recent passport size photo has to be affixed on it and duly attested by the Head Master concerned with school stamp.
On the admit card, the candidates can check details like NTSE roll number, name, father’s name, name of the school, date of birth, date of exam, exam time, exam center code and name. There will also be important instructions for the candidates.
With the admit card the students must carry only necessary items like a pencil and ballpoint pen. No other extra items will be allowed inside the exam center. To fill the OMR answer sheet, students have to use a Black/Blue ballpoint pen only.
In the stage 1 exam the candidates have to answer 100 questions of 100 marks from each SAT and MAT section. There will be 1 marks against each correct answer and there will be no negative marking. The total duration of the exam is 4 hours.
To pass the stage 1 of NTSE the SC, ST, PWD candidates need to score a minimum of 32% marks, whereas, candidates belonging to other category need to score 40% marks. The result of the stage 1 exam is expected to be out in the month of January or February.
The candidaes who will clear the stage 1 exam will be eligible to appear in stage 2 exam that will be held on May 10, 2020. The stage 2 exam will be a national level exam and will be held directly under the guidance of NCERT. 2000 candidates every year are being selected in Second Level Examination all over the country.
