National Testing Agency is going to release the NTA UGC NET result 2021-2022 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC NET examination was conducted from November 20, 2021, to January 05, 2022. As of now, the agency has not notified any update regarding the NTA UGC NET result however it is expected that the same is going to be announced next week.
Earlier, candidates were hoping that the NTA UGC NET result shall be released today, February 10, 2022. However, the same didn’t happen as no result or its update has been released by the agency. Several reports compiled on the basis of the last five years result compilation has hinted that after the answer key for the examination is announced the agency releases the result.
Based on the last year’s data, it can be speculated that the approximate time gap between the release of the UGC NET answer key and the result is at least 30 to 35 days. With this, expectations are now high that we might get to see the result by next week.
The result list for candidates who successfully clear the examination is made for those who score marks or more than the prescribed minimum marks. The minimum qualifying marks is 40% of the total marks for the unreserved category and 35% for the reserved category candidates. Only those who successfully qualify for the marks shall be called to appear in the counseling round. Whenever the result is announced it shall be announced on the official website and candidates have to check it using the login credentials.
As per leading coaching classes, this year, the cut-off marks for NTA UGC NET is going to be between 65-70 marks for the unreserved category. Similarly, for the reserved category candidates, the cut-off marks are speculated to be between 55 to 60 marks. Candidates who qualify for the NTA UGC NET examination shall stand eligibility to get an appointment between Assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities.
