Today is the third day since NTA closed the challenges for NEET 2020 official answer keys. Going by last year’s NEET exam, it was being expected that the OMR sheet display and challenge would start on the last date of answer key challenge. However that did not happen, and now candidates are growing concerned on whether the National Testing Agency would release the OMR sheets at all.
As per chapter 15, clause 15.1 of the official NEET 2020 information brochure, NTA will display the OMR sheets with recorded responses. Therefore candidates can rest their minds over this concern on whether or whether not.
NTA has made it clear in the brochure that they have to publish the scanned copies of OMR sheets of candidates with the responses. Also, they will give candidates a chance to submit challenges through ntaneet.nic.in. For each challenge, one has to pay Rs 1000. Though the fee will be refunded if the challenge is found to be correct.

Coming to the date of issuance of OMR, it is expected to happen either today i.e. October 1, 2020, or day after i.e. October 3, 2020. There are less chances for it to happen tomorrow as it is a national holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
There is still no official word from NTA on when they will display OMR and start the challenge. As far as reports are concerned, it can happen anytime now, and definitely before the results.
The upcoming event of NEET 2020 result declaration is more anticipated by the larger part of the medical aspirants population who appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. while many are eagerly waiting for the OMR and recorded responses challenge, all are anxious about their results. After all, the circumstances under which the million odd students took the career defining entrance exam were unique, and hopefully will not be faced by any more batches to come.
This batch of future doctors have witnessed a once-in-century event of a global pandemic. Specifically one where they clearly saw how the frontline workers were those of their own brethren.
Not only did the situation impact their preparations, it also caused multiple delays to the exam date which was initially supposed to be on May 3. And finally when it did happen, it took place under a cloud of apprehensions, strict SOPs, and the ever hanging fear of how to participate in an offline exam when social interactions are supposed to be refrained from.
Nevertheless, the exam happened smoothly on September 13, 2020, as far as possible. NTA published the official answer keys in a record time. Candidates could view and submit challenges to the same from September 27 to 29, 2020.
Once NTA releases OMR sheet and recorded responses, the NEET result 2020 can be expected within 3-4 days of the same.
