The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the examination schedules for major entrance examinations in the upcoming week of Mark, 2022. According to a PTI report, the Medical Advisory Council of the National Medical Commission, the entrance test schedules are likely to be announced in the upcoming week. This year, NTA is going to conduct various entrance examinations from the month of April. These exams mainly include the JEE Main 2022, NEET 2022, and CUCET 2022.
JEE Main 2022
Unlike previous years, reports suggest that JEE Main 2022 is going to be conducted only twice this year. This entrance examination is conducted to admit students to the various undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes. Similarly, NEET UG 2022 will be held for medical and other allied courses and the CUCET 2022 exam for admission to the various central universities in the country.
In 2021, JEE main exam took place four times which also gave the students the opportunity to improve their scores. It is being reported that the engineering entrance exam will only be held twice and the final merit list will be prepared based on the best of two scores. Last year, the first and second phases of the examination were held in February and March 2021, respectively. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two phases got delayed and were ultimately held in August and September 2021. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in to catch up with all updates regarding the upcoming examination.
NEET UG 2022
Similarly, the NEET UG exam was held on September 12, 2021. According to an Indian Express article, more than 95% of candidates had appeared for the examination. After the results were announced, it was found that more than 8.70 lakh candidates has qualified for the exam. Reportedly, the NEET 2022 examination will be conducted in the months of June and July 2022. However, with this date, it now seems that there will be some changes in the examination dates. Every year, more than 15 lakh candidates appear for the entrance examination.
CUCET 2022
IIT Bombay, the conducting body, has already announced the date for the JEE Advanced 2022 examination, which is July 03, 2022. As per sources, the CUCET 2022 examination will be held in June and July, 2022. This year, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University have decided to conduct the admission process via this national-level entrance exam. NTA will announce the exact exam dates in due time.
