National Seed Corporation Limited has advertised 220 vacancies for the posts of Assistant (Legal), Management Trainee, Senior Diploma Trainee, Trainee, and Trainee Mate (Agri) in different disciplines. A detailed recruitment notification is published in this regard at the official website of the Corporation i.e. indiaseeds.com. Apart from the post of Assistant (Legal), candidates will be selected and placed at the relevant post for a consolidated stipend during the training period of one year. The schedule of the online application process is expected to be announced soon on the official website. However, NSCL has defined other terms and conditions of recruitment in the detailed advertisement, including the eligibility conditions, selection process, and online application method. The Computer Based Test is scheduled to be held in the month of August 2020.
The complete list of post details and the corresponding number of vacancies are advertised through the detailed recruitment notification. There are 03 vacancies for the post of Assistant (Legal) Grade-I, 36 vacancies for the post of Management Trainee in various disciplines, 59 vacancies for the post of Senior Trainee in various disciplines, 7 vacancies for the post of Diploma Trainee in Agriculture and Electrical disciplines and 115 vacancies for the post of Trainee in various disciplines. All of the posts are based on All India service liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India as per discretion and requirements of the Corporation. Furthermore, the detailed bifurcation of vacancies also shows that there are category wise reservations for each post. Candidates must, however, note that reservation to ex-servicemen is not extended to Agricultural bases technical posts and Assistant (Legal) post.
Post wise eligibility conditions in terms of the minimum educational qualifications required are indicated in the detailed recruitment notification. In general, candidates need to have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline and other additional post-graduate qualifications to apply for corresponding posts of Management Trainee, Senior Trainee, and Trainee. For the posts of Diploma Trainee, candidates need to have 3 years full-time Diploma in the relevant trade of Engineering while for the post of Trainee (technical), candidates need to have ITI certificate in the relevant trades. Only those having a professional degree in Law and one year experience of handling legal matters in a reputed organization are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant (Legal) Grade-I. Applicants are advised to go through the advertisement to know about the eligibility condition for the post of their preference before applying.
Those applying for the post of Assistant (Legal) must not be more than 20 years old while for the other posts, the upper age limit is 27 years. Relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable at the rate of 5 years for SC/ST and ESM candidates, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PWD candidates. Upon selection, such eligible candidates are appointed at a specified pay scale. Assistant (Legal) candidates are appointed at the pay scale of Rs 22000 TO 77000 with DA @ 18.7% of Basic and Perks @2.5% of Basic Pay. Management trainees are appointed at a consolidated stipend of Rs 47,480 while Senior/Diploma Trainees are appointed for a stipend of Rs 26114 per month. Trainees are entitled to a stipend of Rs 20179 per month while Trainee Mate (Agri) candidates are entitled to a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs 19586. The selection is to be done through a Computer Based Test and interview conducted one after the other.
The application process is completely online through the website of the Corporation and no other forms of application are accepted by NSCL for this recruitment. The application form must be completely filled up and scanned copies of photographs, signature, and attested/self-attested documents must be uploaded. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 plus GST and processing fees. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee but the GST processing fee must be paid by them.
