Office of the Superintendent, Government General Hospital, Ananthapuramu is inviting offline applications to fill up 182 vacancies in the hospital. The vacancies are for various paramedical and non-medical posts as advertised in a detailed recruitment notice. The vacancies notified are to be filled up on a contractual basis. For the post of Staff Nurse, there are 03 vacancies under G.O.Ms.No.63 HM and 150 vacancies under G.O.Ms.No.60 HM. In addition, there is 01 vacancy for Physical Director, 01 for Dietitian, 02 vacancies for Physiotherapist (BPT/MPT), 01 vacancy for MSW Gr-II, 04 vacancies for Pharmacist Gr-II, 03 vacancies for Radiographers, 02 vacancies for Darkroom Assistant, 02 vacancies for Medical Record Assistant, 05 vacancies for Lab Attendant, 03 vacancies for Junior Assistant and 05 vacancy for Data Entry Operator.
The recruitment is open for both male and female candidates complying with the specified minimum eligibility conditions. In general, candidates need to be within the specified age range in order to apply for the recruitment. The maximum age limit for OC candidates is 42 years while the maximum age limit for SC, ST and BC candidates is 47 years. The maximum age of candidates belonging from ex-serviceman and physically disabled categories is 50 years. The cut-off date of calculation of the maximum age is 01.07.2020.

Nursing qualification along with the registration in AP Nursing Council and relevant work experience to apply for the post of Staff Nurses. Pharm qualification and registration in AP Pharmacy Council are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. Graduates with relevant experience in Computer Application and typing are eligible to apply for the posts of Medical Record Assistant, Junior Assistant, and Data Entry Operators. The selection of candidates is to be done on a merit basis where 75% marks are reserved for the score of candidates in their corresponding qualifying examination. Up to 15 marks are awarded based on experience in Government service. In addition, up to 10 marks are awarded for each year of completion after acquiring the qualifying degree/diploma/certificate. Applications can be submitted either in person or through Registered post in the proforma appended with the employment notification. The applications must be filled in completely and signed by the candidates. Necessary enclosure of the specified documents as self attested copies of the originals must be enclosed with the applications. In addition, candidates must also attach the draft of fee payment of Rs 200. The fee must be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Superintendent, GGH, Ananthapuramu and payable in Ananthapuramu.
