The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced the windows-wise result for NMAT 2018. The candidates can check their results by visiting the official website of NMAT i.e., www.nmat.org.in. Candidates will be required to enter their Username and Password to check the result. However, candidates must note that they can only download their scorecards as of now. The final results for NMAT 2018 will be declared in the month of January 2019. The final result of NMAT 2018 will also specify the percentile of the candidates and cut- off scores too.
To check the NMAT Result 2018, the candidates need to visit the official website. Then on the homepage of the website, click on the NMAT by GMAC 2018 Login. Now, the candidates can check their result either by logging in by entering details such as Username and Password. The other way of checking the result is using the Email, Facebook, Gmail, Mobile. On submitting the necessary details, the result for NMAT 2018 will appear on the screen.
The candidates will receive an e-mail specifying that the scores can be checked. The window wise scores are released within 15-20 days after candidates have given the examination.
NMAT 2018 Scorecard will consist of scaled scores for each section. For instance, in the quantitative skills section, the minimum marks is 0 while the maximum marks which can be achieved is 144. Hence, the marks which can be scored in this section can range from 0 – 144. In the language skills sections, the score can range up to 0 – 96. In the Logical Reasoning section. the score can range up to 0 – 120.
The major difference between Scaled Scores and Final Percentile Scores is that scaled scores are equated and placed on a common scale to make sure that scores are comparable across all the test forms and to reduce any differences in overall difficulty and the raw test scores. The Percentile Scores depicts how much a candidate has scored which can be then compared with the other candidates. The percentile scores become an important tool to depict important information such as passed candidates, number of appearing candidates and cut – off scores.
Candidates will be given in the participating colleges who will be accepting NMAT Scores. NMAT is conducted by GMAC to grant admissions to students in some of the leading graduate business programmes in India. NMAT is a computer-based examination and is conducted in the online mode only. This examination can be taken by a student 3 times by a candidate in a given admission cycle. There are almost 16 participating colleges who accept the NMAT scores and grants admission to students.
