National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has published the exam dates for D.El.Ed and vocational courses at nios.ac.in. The vocational courses exams will start on November. Whereas the exam for D.El.Ed papers will start on November 18. The complete date sheet has been uploaded at nios.ac.in.
NIOS D.El.Ed exam date 2019 are November 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, and 28. Exams will be held for 501 to 510 on these dates.
On November 18, the exam for 501(elementary education in India – a socio cultural perspective) will be held. Then on November 18, exam for 506 (understanding children in inclusive context) shall be conducted.
On November 20, test of 502 (pedagogic processes in elementary schools) will be conducted. And on November 21, exam is scheduled for 507 (community and elementary education).
After that paper for 503 (learning languages at elementary level) is on November 22. Paper for 508 (learning in art, health and physical and work education at elementary level) is on November 25.
Then exam for 504 (learning mathematics at elementary level) is on November 26. 509/510 (learning social science at upper primary level / learning science at upper primary level) exam is slated to be held on November 27.
Thereafter the last exam date for NIOS D.El.Ed 2019 exams is November 28, for 505 (learning environmental studies EVS at primary level. On each of the D.El.Ed exam dates, tests will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
The exam dates for vocational courses are November 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, and 15. On these dates, exams will be held in different slots such as 2.30 pm to 4 pm, 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, 2.30 pm to 5 pm, 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
NIOS will announce results around 8-10 weeks after the exam. Thus the results for D.El.Ed exam are expected in mid-January 2020. Same goes for the vocational exams.
NIOS has published the date sheet for November exams at nios.ac.in, under announcement section, by the name of “Date Sheet for Vocational Courses & D.El.ED (Offline) Examination (November 2019)”. The document has the heading “vocational courses and D.El.Ed. (offline) examinations (November 2019) / dates of theory examination”. Further updates will come there as well as dled.nios.ac.in.
Besides the exam dates, the date sheet also contains some notes. To start with, it is informed that type-writing, stenography and other practical exams for vocational courses will be conducted at the same study centre where candidate has taken admission.
Coordinators of the Accredited Vocational Institute (AVI) can be contacted to know the practical dates. Candidates should know in advance the guidelines for practical exam and know about tools, kit, consumable items, records to be presented. At the centers, candidates are grouped in number of batches as per the capacity of the labs and workshops, for which the coordinators consult the examiner.
The D.El.Ed. programme at NIOS was so designed as to ensure that in-service untrained teachers in primary and upper primary schools of the country can get effective training for becoming an effective teacher. It was developed by the NIOS academic department, on the initiative of the MHRD, govt of India.
