NIOS D.El.Ed 2nd exam Datesheet

The National Institute of Open School (NIOS) has published the date sheet for the conduct of NIOS D.El.Ed 2nd Examination for Untrained In-Service Teachers under the D.EI.Ed. Programme. As per the published schedule, the exam will be held will begin on September 25, 2018, with ‘Elementary Education in India’ (subject code: 501) as the first paper. The test will be held in a single session only from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM.

The second NIOS D.El.Ed. exam for subject code 502 (Pedagogic Process in Elementary Schools) will be held on September 26, 2018. Then the next exam for the subject “Learning Languages at Elementary Level” will be held on September 27, 2018, then the exam for the subject “Learning Mathematics at Elementary Level” will be conducted on September 28, 2018. Lastly, the exam for the subject code 505 (Learning Environmental Studies at Primary Level) will be held on September 29, 2018.

The NIOS is conducting 2nd examination for those who were not able to register in the 1st exam of Diploma in Elementary Examination (D.El.Ed ). The 1st DElEd examination was held on 31st May, 1st June and 2nd June 2018 for subject codes 501, 502 and 503. Over 12 lakh untrained teachers across the country appeared for the first year examination of the two year diploma course in elementary education. The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has been assigned the responsibility to conduct Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) examination for untrained in-service teachers. As per the official sources, the DElEd programme has been designed to train Untrained In-Service teachers at elementary level via Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode and the programme comprises a total of 10 papers that is divided into 2 semesters of 9 months.
