The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam result will be released today. Candidates can check their General Ability Test (GAT) and/ or Creative Ability Test (CAT) scores at the official website nift.ac.in. According to the official notification released by NIFT, the exam results will be announced today, March 09. The situation test for the B.Des programme will be conducted from April 02 to April 05. The GD/PI for PG courses will be held from April 07 to April 26, 2022.
NIFT situation test
The candidates who have been shortlisted for the B.Des program have to give their preference for appearing in the situation test. Candidates can give upto 3 cities of their choice, by logging into nift.ac.in. The last date to give the preferences is March 11. The situation test is scheduled to be conducted from April 02 to 05. The admit cards for the situation test can be downloaded from March 16, at the official website.
NIFT GD/PI
The Group Discussion/ Personal Interview (GD/PI) for the candidates shortlisted for admission to PG courses will be conducted from April 07 to 26. The GD/PI will be conducted at the Indian Social Institute (ISI), New Delhi. Candidates have to login to the NIFT website and upload the required documents before the GD/PI. The self-attested copy of the graduation mark sheets and a self-attested copy of graduation certificate/ final year appearing certificate have to be uploaded.
How to check the NIFT entrance exam results?
Step 1: First, open the website nift.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab.
Step 3: The result link will be available in the ‘Important Updates’ section; click on it.
Step 4: Now the login page will be displayed. Candidates have to enter any two among roll number, application number and date of birth.
In the score card, candidates will be able to view their GAT/ CAT score, total score, common rank and category rank.
NIFT exam 2022
The NIFT exam was conducted on February 06, 2022. The entrance exam is conducted as GAT and CAT for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at NIFT campuses across the country. Candidates who had applied for B.Des and M.Des courses had to attempt both the GAT and CAT. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the situation test. Candidates who had applied for the B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and M.F.M courses had to attempt GAT only. Candidates who are shortlisted for these courses will have to appear for the GD/PI.
