National Institute of Biologicals is inviting applications from 12th Pass and Master’s degree holders to fill up vacancies for the post of Assistant and Junior Hindi Translator. NIB has published the detailed advertisement at nib.gov.in containing the complete details of the recruitment. Eligible and intending candidates can apply for the recruitment by filling up the application form available at the website and sending them to the Director so as to reach on or before February 02, 2021.
NIB has advertised 05 vacancies each for the posts of Assistant-I and Assistant-II and 1 vacancy for the post of Junior Hindi Translator. The complete vacancy bifurcation details indicating category-wise distribution of vacancies is indicated in the detailed advertisement. Appointment to Assistant-I post is done at the Pay Matrix Level 4 in the scale of Rs 25500-81100. Appointment to Assistant-II post is done at the Pay Matrix Level 2 in the scale of Rs 19000-63200. Similarly, Junior Hindi Translator post holders are to be appointed at the Pay Matrix Level 6 in the scale of Rs 35400-112400.
12th pass candidates are eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant-I and Assistant-II. For the post of Assistant-I, candidates must have passed the 12th exam with 60% marks in Science subjects. Candidates must also have typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on Computer. Those who have passed Class 12 with 50% marks in Arts/Commerce/Science stream are eligible to apply for the Assistant-II post. Such candidates must also have similar typing speed on Computer as stated here. Candidates having a Master’s degree with 60% marks in Hindi or English as main subjects at the degree level are eligible to apply for JHT post. 2 years experience of scientific terminology based work in Hindi or translation work from Hindi to English or vice versa is also required.
Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through written test and skill test. However, mere possession of the minimum eligibility conditions will not entitle a candidate to be called for the written test or skill test. After the exam, NIB will conduct a detailed scrutiny of the eligibility of the candidate till which, the candidature will remain provisional only. The decision of the NIB will be final and binding in determining the eligibility of the candidate for appointment to the advertised post.
The application format is available at the NIB website as an annexure to the detailed advertisement. Candidates are required to fill-up the form and affix a photograph at the designated space. Completely filled up and signed application form must be sent to the Director, NIB (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), A-32, Sector-62, Institutional Area Noida UP 201 309 by post. The applications must be enclosed with attested copies of supporting documents including category certificate.
