NHM Assam Recruitment 2021: Latest Notification for M&HO-I Post; Details Here

Medical & Health Recruitment Board, Assam is inviting applications from MBBS passed candidates to fill up 476 vacancies for M&HO posts.

Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam has published the latest recruitment notification on nhm.assam.gov.in for 476 posts of M&HO-I. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply online at the aforementioned website till January 15, 2021. Eligible applicants are to be selected on the basis of Viva-Voce/Interview. Finally shortlisted applicants are to be posted under the Health & Family Welfare (A) Department Department of Government of Assam.

Interested candidates are advised to go through the detailed advertisement carefully before applying for this recruitment. The 476 vacancies are distributed across various categories and includes reservations for OBC/MOBC, SC. STH, PWD categories.

Finally shortlisted candidates are entitled to receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,10,000 along with Grade Pay of Rs 12700 and other allowances. Candidates are also entitled to Rural Incentive of Rs 4000 per month. Doctors serving in Rural/Sixth Schedule Areas can also get Non-Practicing Allowance. Candidates who are registered under Assam Medical Council for Post Graduate Degree holders and have passed out from recognized University are can also avail five advance increments. Diploma holders can avail two advance increments.

The recruitment is only open for candidates within the age of 21 to 38 years as on January 01, 2020. However, the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 43 years while it is 41 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. Disabled (PwD) candidates are entitled to for upto 10 years relaxation on the upper age limit.

Applicants are required to have an MBBS degree from a recognized University under Medical Council of India. It is mandatory that applicants must be registered under Assam Medical Council.

The selection of eligible applicants is to be done through Viva-Voce/Interview. Candidates are required to apply online for selection by paying a specified application fee. The fee amount is Rs 250 for General Category candidates. However, candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC, SC/ST(P)/ST(H) categories have to pay only Rs 150. Candidates holding BPL certificate and PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of any application fee.

The fee must be deposited through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other-Receipt”. Candidates can use Government Receipt accounting (GRAS) at the website assamegras.gov.in to pay the fees. Candidates must print a copy of the Treasary Challan from GRAS and submit it along with the application form.

Interested candidates are advised not to wait till the last date and apply now as per procedure detailed above. The application form can be availed at the official website. Applicants must read the detailed advertisement carefully and apply only after ensuring that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
