National Health Mission Assam, is inviting applications for the vacant posts of Arogyamitra and Pradhan Mantri Arogyamitra. An advertisement in this regard with “No.NHM-31013(11)/10/2020-HRD-NHM/14295” is published recently on the official website, nhmaassam.gov.in. In total 429 vacancies are out for the said posts. The applications for said posts can be submitted before September 23, 2020.
NHM Assam is recruiting candidates for the aforementioned posts on the behalf of Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society (AAAS) Assam. Out of the total announced vacancies, 60 are out for Arogyamitra (ARM) under Atal Amrit Abhiyan Scheme and 369 vacancies are out for Pradhan Mantri Arogyamitra (PMAM) under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
The recruitment is completely on a contractual basis. Candidates are recruited under this recruitment for a short period of time. As per the notification, selected candidates will be posted at hospitals across India. during this contractual period, they will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply for NHM Assam recruitment. Those who have passed 12th pass in Science Stream are eligible to apply for Arogyamitra and Pradhan Mantri Arogyamitra posts. They have to ensure that they meet the upper age limit of 30 years as on January 01, 2020. Applicants fluent in Assamese, English and Hindi are preferred.
Other than this, applicants should be proficient with computer and its applications. They must have registered with Employment Exchange and possess Employment Exchange Registration Number. Candidates possessing experience in Health sector will be preferred.
Eligible and intending candidates can apply online by visiting the official website, nhm.assam.gov.in.They can get the online application form link under the recruitment section. Before applications start the application procedure they must keep testimonials in support of 12th passing, date of birth, experience proof, employment exchange registration number, and others as asked.
The selection criteria for the said posts includes two stages – a review of the application form and personal interview. The scrutiny of eligibility/ review of application form carries 50 marks. Based on the eligibility and experience, candidates will be awarded marks. Those who secure satisfactory marks are called for the personal interview. This round also carries 50 marks. As of now, NHM Assam has not released the schedule for the interview.
The list of the candidates shortlisted for the interview is published on the NHM Assam website accordingly. It will also contain the date, time and venue for the interview. Candidates have to attend the interview which may be conducted online. Aspirants are suggested to check the website periodically to get the latest updates.
