National Highway Authority of India is looking for eligible candidates for the post of General Manager (Environment). NHAI has recently published a detailed notification in this regard on the official website, nhai.gov.in. As per the official notification, only one vacant posts is advertised for this recruitment. Applicants eligible as per the eligibility criteria can submit their form from today i.e August 28, 2020 onwards. The last date for the submission of online application is September 09, 2020.
The recruitment on General Manager (Environment) is on deputation basis. Those who are appointed under this post are posted anywhere in India. Applicants who are shortlisted for this post gets monthly salary in pay band-4 Rs. 37400/- to Rs. 67000/- with grade pay of Rs. 8700/-.
Before starting with the online application procedure, read out the eligibility criteria first. As mentioned in the notification, candidates must have a degree with Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology as one the subject. Those who have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering degree from a recognized university can apply for General Manager (Environment) post. Moreover, a minimum of 14 years of work experience is a must in the relevant field to apply for the recruitment.
As the recruitment is through deputation basis, officers must have served under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities. Such candidates must have worked under an analogous post on the regular period with the salary of Rs.37,400-67,000/-. Those who have 04 years of work experience on regular basis in pay band – 3 with salary Rs.15,600-39,100 can also apply for the same.

After reaching the website candidates have to click on the about us > vacancies > current > online application link against the recruitment advertisement. First, candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the ‘new registration’ link. On successful registration, an user ID and password is sent to the registered email ID. The duly filled in application form should also be submitted as a hard copy to the conducting body. Application form along with the prescribed verification certificate and photocopy of APARs/ACRs for the last five (05) years should reach the DGM (HR &Admn.)-I , National Highways Authority of India, Plot No: G – 5 & 6, Sector – 10, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075 on or before October 09, 2020.
