The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is inviting applications to fill up vacancies in various managerial posts on deputation basis. NHAI has published an official recruitment notice in this regard at the website nhai.gov.in. As per the notice, vacancies for posts such as General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Manager are available for recruitment. The organization is inviting eligible candidates to submit their applications online through the aforementioned website starting from July 29, 2020. The last date of submission of online applications is August 28, 2020, till 06.00 PM. In addition, printed copies of the submitted application form must be sent to the authorities at NHAI by the parent department on or before September 14, 2020, till 06.00 PM.
A total of 22 vacancies are advertised for various managerial positions. There are 03 vacancies available for the post of General Manager (Administration) which are to be filled-up on a deputation basis. 08 vacancies for the post of Deputy General Manager (Administration) are to be filled-up on Promotion/Deputation basis. In addition, there are 08 vacancies for the post of Manager (Administration) which are to be filled-up on the basis of deputation and 03 vacancies available for the post of Assistant Manager (Administration) are also to be filled-up on a deputation basis.
Candidates must however meet the specified eligibility conditions in order to apply for recruitment to any of the posts. Candidates within the age of 56 years and who have a degree and experience of 14 years in PB-3 (Rs 15,600-39100) + G.P Rs 5400 are eligible to apply for the post of GM (Administration). Candidates having the educational qualifications and 05 years of experience in Administration /Establishment/HR/Personnel Management are also eligible to apply. For the post of Deputy GM (Administration) candidates within the age of 56 years and having a graduate degree are eligible to apply. However, 09 years of experience in PB 3 (Rs 15600-39100) + G.P Rs 5400 is necessary to apply. Candidates with 04 years of experience in Administration/Establishment/HR/Personel Management are also eligible to apply.
Candidates having a recognized degree and a minimum experience of 04 years in Administration/Establishment/HR/Personnel Management are eligible to apply for the post of Manager (Administration). The age of such applicants must not be more than 56 years. Similarly, candidates who have a minimum experience of 03 years in Administration, Establishment, HR or Personnel Management, and having a graduate degree are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Manager (Administration). The maximum permissible upper age for deputation is 56 years. Interested candidates are however advised to go through the detailed recruitment notification and ensure that they comply with the specified eligibility norms before proceeding to apply for the recruitment.
The application process is conducted online at the official NHAI website as specified here. Applicants must have a valid email ID to register at the website before filling up the application form. Candidates can access the link to fill up and submit the online application form under the Current Opening section within the Vacancies option on NHAI website. Scanned copies of photograph and other important documents must be uploaded as per specification. Candidates must also send the printed copy of the application form along with necessary documents (ACRs/APARs) from the parent department to DGM (HR & Admn)-I, NHAI, Plot No. G-5 & 6, Sector – 10, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075 on or before the last date.
