The wait regarding the announcement of NEET-UG 2022 exam dates seems to be ending as reports suggest that the exam are expected to be held soon. According to Dr Amit Gupta, the NEET UG exam is expected to be held on any of the Sundays between the last week of June and the first week of July 2022. With this, we can speculate that the exam can be conducted either on June 26, 2022, or on July 03, 2022. There is no official update regarding these exam dates, however, the candidates can start their preparations.

Check out the complete tweet below:

Along with the NEET update, the tweet also provided an update regarding the number of attempts provided for the JEE Main 2022 examination. As per leading reports, this year instead of 4 attempts in the JEE Main exam only 2 attempts shall be provided to candidates. Earlier, last year, the JEE Main examination was held in four-session, in February, March, April, and August-September. This was done to adjust the increased number of candidates who applied for the JEE Main 2021 exam. With this news, now the expectations are high that we might get to see the application form of JEE Main in either February or March 2022.

As per a leading media house, the four attempts were provided keeping in mind the second wave of the pandemic. However, since this year the pandemic has not worsened, NTA has reportedly planned to keep only 2 attempts for JEE exam. Furthermore, talking about the delay, the source divulged that this year the board exam has been pushed to later dates. It is, therefore, decided to schedule the exam dates on a later date such that the admissions are been done on time.

Although the authorities have fixed the number of attempts for the JEE Main exam, there is no cap on the number of attempts for the NEET-UG 2022 exam. Other than this, it is also speculated that this year, the level of the questions asked in the NEET UG exam can be comparatively higher than the previous year.
