Today, November 22, 2021, is the last date to apply for NEET-SS 2021. The conducting body of NEET-SS, National Board of Examination (NBE), will not be accepting applications after the window closes at 11.55 pm. Interested candidates are advised to apply on the official website nbe.edu.in as soon as possible. As per the official notification, the exam will be conducted on January 10, 2022, and the results will be published by January 31, 2022.
In order to be eligible for NEET SS, aspirants must have completed a postgraduate degree on or before November 30, 2021. Additionally, the aspirants must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).
To fill the application form of NEET-SS 2021, go through the steps mentioned below:
Step 1 – Go to the official website of NBE, natboard.edu.in
Step 2 -On the left side menu bar, click on NEET SS 2021 link
Step 3 – In the new page that subsequently opens, click on ‘New Registration’ button given on the right-hand side
Step 4 – Mark the declaration and move on to filling the NEET SS application form 2021
Step 5 – Upload the required documents and choose the preferred test centre
Step 6 – Pay the applicable fee against the selected course
Step 7 – Take the printout of the confirmation page
It is advisable to keep personal details, PG qualification and MCI/SMC registration details, passport size photo, signature, and thumb impression handy while filling the application form.
So far the dates of the correction window of the NEET SS 2021 is concerned, the same will be open from December 1 to 7, 2021, and the final edit window will be open from December 20 to 23, 2021. Subsequently, admit cards will be available to download from January 3, 2022.
According to their eligibility, candidates are allowed to choose two super-specialty programs in NEET SS Exam, and authorities will prepare a separate question paper for each SS course. So far the examination pattern is considered, it is a computer-based test and the medium of examination will be English. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 45 minutes. The exam will consist of 100 questions divided into two sections A and B. Each question will have 4 marks and a negative marking of 1 mark will be done for every wrong answer.
Part A will have 40% weightage, with 40 questions and the time allotted for this section is 45 minutes. Part B will have 60% weightage with 60 questions and the time allotted for this section is 60 minutes.
NEET SS is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NBE for admission to DM/M.Ch courses. These are super specialty courses of 3 years that can be pursued after completing the postgraduate degree.
