NEET 2022 Exam City Announcement Before Admit Card – Know All About Advance City Intimation

Although the NEET 2022 advance city intimation release date is not known, one thing is clear - this document will release prior to issuance of admit cards.

National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 is all set to be conducted on July 17, 2022, through the pen-and-paper mode. The test will be held for a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes i..e, from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm. Prior to NEET 2022 exam, each registered candidate will be registered two documents – 1. Admit card and 2. Advance city intimation. Both documents shall be issued through the online mode, on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the dates for release of NEET 2022 advance city intimation. While waiting for the release date, here are some important details know about the intimation document.

What is NEET 2022 Advance City Intimation?

In simple terms, the NEET 2022 advance city intimation is a document which informs each aspirant about his/her allotment city. The allotted city will be based on four choices selected by the respective candidate while filling-up the online form.

The advance city intimation is likely to be issued through the online mode, on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. However, candidates must remember that this document is different from admit card. The latter will be issued at a later stage, through the same mode and website.

How to download NEET 2022 Advance City Intimation?

To download the NEET 2022 advance city intimation, candidates can follow the tentative steps given below –

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET 2022 i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the NEET 2022 advance city intimation download link. This link shall be made available in the “LATEST NEWS” section.

Step 3: A new page will open containing the direct link for intimation document. Click on the link to access the login window.

Step 4: Enter the required credentials such as Application Number and Date of Birth.

Step 5: Key-in the security code and submit the login credentials.

Step 6: The NEET 2022 advance city intimation will appear on the screen. Download or print a copy of the document for future reference. Pay careful attention to the exam city allotted.

Although the NEET 2022 advance city intimation release date is not known, one thing is clear – this document will release prior to issuance of admit cards.

NEET 2022 Admit Card release date

In 2021, the UG entrance exam was held across the country, on September 12. Admit cards were issued 6 days prior, on September 06, 2021. Given this sequence of events, the NEET 2022 admit card is likely to release by July 11, 2022. The advance city intimation may be issued a week before, preferably on July 04, 2022.
