National Testing Agency has recently extended the last date to register for the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam. The last date has been extended to June 27, 2021 till 05.00 PM while candidates will be able to pay the application fee online till 11.50 PM on the last date. The NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam now stands postponed by the NTA on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.
NTA conducts the National Council for Hotel Management J& Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) for admission to B.Sc program in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (H&HA) every year. The Agency commenced online registrations for the exam on February 03, 2021 while initially, the registration window was scheduled to close on May 10, 2021 as per the official information brochure.
Earlier, it was also informed by the NTA that the NCHMCT JEE 2021 will be held on June 12, 2021, however, the last date to register now has been deferred to June 27, 2021, and as per indications on the official website i.e. nchmjee.nta.nic.in, the exam stands postponed until further notice. Aspiring candidates may also note that as per the latest schedule, once the registration window closes on June 27, 2021, the NTA will allow application form correction for registered candidates from June 29, 2021, to July 05, 2021. Those who are yet to register and apply online for the NCHMCT JEE 2021 are advised not to waste any more time and visit the official website and complete the registration and application process without delay.
05 Things to Know About NCHMCT JEE 2021
The NCHMCT JEE is an important exam of the NTA held once every year for admission to B.Sc program in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. Here are five very important facts that all candidates must be aware of.
#1 – NCHMCT JEE 2021 application fee – It is mandatory that the application form is submitted on or before the last date i.e. June 29, 2021 now that it has been extended. For this, candidates must make the deposit of the application fee specified by the NTA. An application fee of Rs 1000 have to be paid by candidates belonging to General/OBC-NCL category while for General (EWS), the fee amount is Rs 700. For SC/ST, PWD and Transgender, the fee amount is Rs 450 and it can be paid online using internet banking/debit card or credit card.
#2 – NCHMCT JEE 2021 Form Correction – The NTA will allow registered candidates to edit the information on the NCHMCT JEE 2021 application form once the application form last date is over. Candidates will be able to do so on the official website between June 29, 2021 to July 05, 2021 by logging in with the Application Number and Password.
#3 – NCHMCT JEE 2021 Admit Card – In order to appear in the NCHMCT JEE exam, it is mandatory that all candidates have the admit card with them when they report to the exam centre. The admit card releases online on the official website through candidate login. With the release of the exam date, the date of release of the admit card will be known although, candidates can get further details furnished in the information brochure.
#4 – NCHMCT JEE 2021 Exam – The NTA is going to conduct the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam in the form of a Computer Based Test. The total duration of the exam is 03 hours and the question paper will consist of 200 MCQs based on the indicative topics of the syllabus. The question paper is documented bilingually in the Hindi and English languages and while correct answers fetch 4 marks, incorrect answers are liable for deduction of 01 mark each.
#5 – NCHMCT JEE 2021 Syllabus – The syllabus of the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam has been defined by the NTA in the official information brochure and the question paper will be based on the topics of Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector.
