NBSE HSLC, HSSLC Re-Exam 2021 Announced; Students Should Apply By 28 Apr, 5 May Respectively

NBSE has asked students of class 10th and class 12th who were tested COVID-19 positive to register for the Re-Examination.

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is now accepting applications for the HSLC & HSSLC Re-Exam 2021. Only those students who were unable to take the exam of some subjects can apply for the re-exam. They have to produce a COVID-19 negative report while registering for the Class 10th and Class 12th re-examination. The last date to register for the Nagaland HSLC exam is April 28 and for HSSLC is May 05, 2021.

The whole nation is suffering from the second wave of Coronavirus and Nagaland state is not left untouched. As per the reports, the North-eastern State has reported 53+ new COVID-19 case increasing the total number to 12,800. S Pangnyu Phom, the Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Nagaland, has also been updating the data of COVID-19 affected citizens on his Twitter account. He has asked the people of Nagaland to follow all the SOPs to stay safe.

Amidst the crisis, the Nagaland Board of School Education conducted a boards examination. The NBSE High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) was conducted from April 07 2021 to April 21, 2021. The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLC) is taking place from April 06, 2021, to April 29, 2021. Several students who got infected were unable to appear for the examination. Some of the Class 10th and Class 12th students who had symptoms and went to get tested also failed to report at the test centre.

To help such students to save their precious year, NBSE has decided to conduct Nagaland Re-Exam 2021. Students who were tested COVID-19 positive or had to go for COVID-19 testing are eligible to apply for NBSE Re-Exam 2021. They have to apply officially to the Board Stating the subjects they missed the exam along with a photocopy of admit card. No fees will be charged for these category students. The exam dates and centres for the Boards exam will be notified later, in due course of time.

The submitted application will be forwarded by the respective centre superintendent of the examination centres of HSLC/ HSSLC 2021. Candidates also required to carry a COVID-19 negative report to be allowed to sit for the exam. The report should be duly certified by the Medical Department, Government of Nagaland. Also, carry the HSLC/ HSSLC Admit Card 2021 to the exam centre.

This re-examination procedure is a one-time examination that will take place strictly adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPS). Students are also advised to follow all the COVID-19 advisory while appearing for the examination.
