Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) 2021 admit cards on the official website nata.in. These admit cards have been issued for the third attempt which is scheduled to be held on September 03, 2021. Hence, those candidates who have successfully registered for the entrance exam must download their NATA 2021 admit cards as soon as possible. Within the next 03 days, authorities are going to conduct the national-level Architecture exam in specific centres across the country. Those who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to the 5-year B.Arch. degree course at reputed colleges within the country.
Candidates who are yet to download their NATA 2021 third attempt admit cards are instructed to follow the steps given below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of NATA 2021 i.e., nata.in.
Step 2: On the website’s homepage, click on the “NATA-2021 Registration” tab.
Step 3: By doing so, a new page will open asking for login credentials. Enter the required credentials such as registered email ID, password and security code.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Login’ option to access the admit card. Immediately, take a printout of the admit card without waiting for the last moment.
According to the information brochure, NATA 2021 aptitude test may comprise 5 different types of questions namely,
#1 Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ)
#2 Multiple-Select Question (MSQ)
#3 Preferential Choice Question (PCQ)
#4 Numerical Answer Type Question (NAQ)
#5 Match the Following Question (MFQ)
The paper will comprise 125 questions that have to be answered within a span of 3 hours/180 minutes. Each question will carry a weightage of 1/2/3 marks in the overall test. Moreover, the questions will be displayed only in the English language.
CoA will test a candidate’s aptitude on the basis of various parameters. These include Diagrammatic Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Situational Judgement, Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.
Apart from this, questions in the NATA 2021 examination will cover a variety of topics in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Geometry, Interpretation and Language, Principles and Elements of Design, Colour Theory, Aesthetic Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning and Lateral Thinking, Graphic and Imagery, Visual Perception and Cognition, etc. Emphasis will also be given to subjects such as General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Thus, the aptitude test is a comprehensive examination testing a candidate’s understanding in a multitude of domains.
As of now, NATA 2021 third attempt is scheduled to be held on September 03, 2021. The exam will be held in two shifts – 1. 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2. 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Results for the same are expected to come out on September 08, 2021.
