Today, August 31, 2021, is the last date to register for the Delhi University (DU) Undergraduate (UG) admission 2021. Interested candidates are instructed to complete their application formalities as soon as possible to successfully apply for university admissions. They have to submit their online application forms on the official website du.ac.in. Through the admission drive, DU plans on filling a total of 70,000 seats across 60 colleges, in a variety of different fields. After closing the registration process, the first cut-off list is likely to release by the second week of September 2021.
As of now, reports state that a total of 4,23,439 candidates have applied for the DU UG 2021 admission process. For their benefit, university authorities have decided to retain the eligibility criteria same as last year. The decision to do so was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the invariable hurdles created by it in the academics of students.
Those students looking to apply for the DU UG 2021 admission are instructed to the brief steps given below to submit their application form –
Step 1: Visit the Delhi University’s official website i.e., du.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, scroll down and click on the ‘Study at DU’ option.
Step 3: Click on the UOD link attached to the words “Admission 2021”. This will lead them to a new page having the link admission.uod.ac.in. Alternately, candidates can directly search this link on their preferred browser.
Step 4: Click on the “UG Admission Portal 2021” to register to access the application form.
In case the candidates have partially completed their profiles and few steps are left, then they can directly enter their registered email ID, password and security code before clicking on the “Login” option. The important steps of the DU UG 2021 admission process are registering on the official portal, filling the application form, upload the necessary documents and paying the required application. On successful completion of all these steps, candidates must submit their application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for their reference.
According to the information brochure, DU authorities planned on conducting the UG 2021 admission process from August 02 to 31, 2021. This timeline is applicable for both merit-based and entrance test-based programs. However, they are yet to disclose the exact date for declaring the cut-offs and merit list. What is known is that once known, candidates can check the merit list on the official website admission.uod.ac.in. According to some popular news portals, the merit list is likely to come out in the second week of September 2021.
