S.I.E.S College of Commerce and Economics and Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce are the first colleges under Mumbai University (MU) to release the first Merit List for admission. The candidates can check the merit list for admission in the websites of the respective colleges. MU merit list 2019 is being released on June 17, 2019, by all the colleges. As of now, the merit list has been declared by S.I.E.S college of Commerce and Economics and Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce.

However, it depends on colleges to college, some college release the cutoff list and some declare the merit list. Per se S.I.E.S College of Commerce and Economics has released the cutoff list and the merit list will be available in the notice board of the website. However, Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce have declared the merit list for all the courses over their website.

Note that the candidates have to appear for the document verification rounds if their name appears on the merit/cutoff list of the colleges. The document verification rounds take place in person. More than 700 colleges affiliated to Mumbai University are releasing their merit list and on the official website and also offline on the notice board of the respective colleges.

The documents required during the document verification process are Marksheet for class 10 and 12, Caste Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Minority Certificate, and Transfer Certificate.

In case the name of the candidate does not appear in the first merit list, they have to look for the second merit list which will be out on June 20, 2019, at 5 pm. The process remains the same as the first merit list. If the name appears in the second merit list, then the candidate will be called for document verification with all the documents mentioned above.
