Supreme Court has issued a notice to the central government regarding 10 percent reservation in CTET 2019. Along with the central government, the notice has been sent to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) too. The hearing in this regard will be held in the month of July 2019.
CTET 2019 is scheduled to be held on July 07, 2019 and the CTET 2019 admit card is to be made available by this month, June 2019. In the petition for the 10% EWS quota, it has bee argued that economically backward class candidates should get the benefit of this reservation. They should be given relaxation in fees and more benefits as is meant to be given under this reservation.
The candidates can download the admit card online at ctet.nic.in. To download the admit card the candidates have to use their application number and date of birth/password.
On the day of the exam, the candidates have to carry the admit card with a valid Id proof which can be any one of these – Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Ration Card, or a Voter ID.
The admit card will have important details like the Centre number, Center of examination, Your address, Registration number, Date of birth, Gender, Category, Whether differently abled, Question paper medium, Subject offered for Paper II, Languages offered, Date of exam, Paper, Timings, Roll number, Your photograph and the Exam instructions. The candidates have to appear in the exam as per the details in the admit card.
There will be 2 papers in the CTET 2019 exam. The first paper will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon. For paper 1 the entry in the exam center will start at 8:00 AM. The paper 2 exam will start from 2:00 PM and will end at 4:30 PM. The entry for the paper 2 exam will start from 12:30 PM.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 is the national level teacher eligibility test. It is conducted by CBSE. Those who qualify Paper I of CTET become qualified to teach classes I to V. And those who qualify Paper II become qualified to teach classes VI to VIII.
