Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Wednesday, has announced the cancellation of the MP Board Class 12th Exam 2021. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to cancel the State’s Board Examination. The announcement was made by CM on this official Twitter account.
Earlier, the MP board was considering other ways to organize the 12th Board examination offline. The School Education Department had plans to conduct the MP board exam in July 2021. However, CM has now confirmed that the MP Board 12th Exam will not be conducted. He shared on his official Twitter account that “This year, class 12th Board Exam will not be conducted in Madhya Pradesh”. To this, he further adds that Student’s health is precious and we can not put the mental burden on them during COVID-19.

CM has also tweeted that a committee has already been set up to decide on the MP Board Class 12th result declaration. The final criterion for the result preparation will be announced after consulting the experts.

In the video shared on the official account, CM has also addressed the result declaration procedure of the MP class 10th board examination. The final result will be based on the internal assessment. The MP class 10th Board exam 2021 was cancelled recently.
Moreover, there are other State Boards as well which has cancelled the Class 12th Board Exam 2021. The first one to announce the cancellation of the Board Exam was Haryana Board. Haryana Education Minister, Kanwar Pal Gujjar, has announced on PTI that the 12th Boards exam is cancelled. Following this, Gujarat Board has also decided to cancel the Board exam. Dr Rutvij Patel has tweeted the announcement on his official Twitter account thanking Vijay Rupani, CM of Gujarat, for this decision. Also, the West Bengal Madhyamik, HS 2021 Exams are cancelled.
However, the decision of some State Boards is still pending. Karnataka Education Minister, Suresh Kumar, has said that the decision of the SSLC and PU exam will be announced shortly. Students are appealing to Captain Amrinder Singh, Vijay Inder Singla to cancel the Board examination of Punjab State.
Furthermore, CBSE has cancelled the Class 12th Boards Examination 2021. Prime Minister has made the announcement yesterday through his official Twitter account. Following the precedent, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has also cancelled the board’s examination.
