Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has declared class 12th result 2020 for Arts, Science and Commerce stream. It can be checked online at mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in. Over 8.5 lakh candidates registered for Madhya Pradesh board 12th examination 2020. This year, a total of 68.81% students have passed the exam.
Kushi Singh is the state topper as she obtained 1st rank by obtaining 486 marks out of 500. This year, the top 5 places have been secured by girls – Khushi Singh, Madhulata Silawat, Nikita Patidar, Riyanshi Shakyawar and Nirali Sharma. Girls have outperformed boys in MP board 12th exam 2020. The pass percentage for boys is 64.66% whereas the pass percentage for girls is at 73.4%.
In the Science stream, Priya Lal and Rinku Bathra got 1st place by 495 out of 500, whereas in the Commerce stream, Mufeel Arwiwala scored 487 marks out of 500 to become Commerce topper.
To check MP board 12th result, students will need to visit the official website at mpbse.nic.in or mpresult.nic.in. On the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for checking the result. Next, the students will have to log in using roll number and application number. Submit the login details after which the result will be displayed on the screen.
This year, the chief minister of the state, MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the laptop scheme has been resumed. In the tweet, he said that meritorious students will get citation and incentives of Rs 25,000 to buy laptops. For the batch 2019-20, the scheme is available for both, regular and self-taught students.
MP board 12th exams were scheduled to be conducted from March 2 to 31. However, due to lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic, the board decided to postpone the papers that were scheduled between March 20 and 31. Later, MPBSE conducted the pending exams from June 9 to 16, however, the board conducted the papers for the important papers which are necessary for students to get admission to higher education institutions.
