National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a public notice on May 12, 2021, announcing that the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJRPU), Uttar Pradesh shall be accepting candidates based on their UPCET 2021 scores. UPCET stands for the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance examination that is conducted every year for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses within Uttar Pradesh. The concerned university shall be admitting students based on their UPCET 2021 scores to various courses including B.Pharm, MCA, MBA and many more. Interested candidates can apply for the state-level entrance exam on or before May 31, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Similarly, the last date to pay the application fee is May 31, 2021, up to 11:50 pm.
NTA shall be conducting the UPCET 2021 and had thus, released the public notice on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, regarding the university admission process. According to the notice, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University shall be admitting students to first-year and second-year of various courses. Based on their UPCET 2021 scores, candidates shall be granted admission to the first year of B.Pharm, BHMCT (Hotel Management and Catering Technology), MBA and MCA.
The university will also grant admission or lateral entry to second-year of two courses – B.Pharm and B.Tech. The notice also stated that MJRPU shall be considering the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 scores for this year’s admission process. Based on the JEE Main scores, candidates shall be admitted to various B.Tech courses offered by the university.
NTA has also released the information bulletin regarding UPCET 2021 to understand the eligibility criteria, exam duration and timing, exam fee, reservation of seats, etc. Candidates are advised to visit the official website nta.ac.in or upcet.nta.nic.in to download the information bulletin. Similarly, the JEE Main 2021 information bulletin is available on the official website jeemain.nta..nic.in. Candidates are instructed to complete the entrance exam formalities (UPCET 2021 or JEE Main 2021) before the prescribed deadline and pay the specified application fee. This fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit card, Internet Banking or Paytm.
All formalities have to be completed through the online mode and not through any offline formats. Authorities also advised candidates to regularly visit the official website for important updates regarding the entrance exams.
